  1. Another faddist. Gluten from WHOLE grain (Not flour) is a problem IF you
    have celiac disease(~1%) or IF you are allergic.(<3%), and fermented
    soybean foods (tofu, tempe, miso, soy yogurt) are Fine. Unfortunately,
    Ornish advocates a moderation based 'its OK to eat poorly one day & eat
    healthy the next' approach. One is Much better off adhering to the
    Esselstyn regimen.

  2. I am on the Esselstyn regimen and used to eat gluten and when I stopped
    eating gluten, I stopped storing fat around my midsection AND stopped
    feeling drowsy in the afternoon. So I DO KNOW what I am talking about,
    especially since I am in far superior shape to either of you clowns. 4:30
    best mile time and 2:30:00 marathoner.

  3. LOL! Nitwit, fermented traditional whole soy products have not! Not after
    several thousand years of use in China & or Asia. But of course you and
    your . what. 3 years of ‘research’ have disproven that! So DO show us the
    vetted reproduced objective “research”.

  4. Just google soy dementia research, all peer-review scientific research. Are
    you too young to know how to use google. Do I need to spoon feed you
    everything? I am a NASA scientist. What are you besides a spammer?

  5. And where has the research been vetted and reproduced? Since when is
    ‘peer-reviewed’ the standard for verification? I can easily see how you
    must be right as China has had such a rampant history of dementia!

    and your ‘research’. I’ll take their opinion over your belief.

  7. Oh, and I co-opted at NASA in Huntsville during my FIRST degree in physics.
    But you sure have impressed me! Let’s see and one side of SkyLab was
    freezing as the other side boiled, only flip it around to thaw out the
    other side. But we did get office SkyLab hard hats to celebrate its decay
    and falling from orbit. LOL!

  8. If you would become aware of recommendations for soy, it is to use
    fermented whole soy in moderation as it has a very high oil content, & a
    9-11% total oil percentage as a part of whole plt based foods is the
    optimal recommendation per the clinically vetted results & research. & now
    one I know is proposing a “soy based diet” as you fraudulently claim! It is
    recommended that it is fine as a part of a varied whole plt based diet &
    one that need not be avoided in moderation. But Nice strawman BS.

  9. It would be a shame if you did not melt fat when these other people are
    able to burn fat so easily using “Fat Blast Formula” (check it out on
    Google).

  10. thank you, Doctor, for putting this up. Please consider changing the
    headline to be “…Dr. Dean Ornish…” otherwise a Google search of
    ‘Oprah’ and ‘Dean’ gets Paula Dean, not Dr. Dean Ornish. I think this will
    help more people benefit from the knowledge you bring.

  11. How do you get fish oil that is free from mercury from the pollution in our
    seas please advise. So while omega 3’s maybe good for our heart we are
    getting poisoned by the mercury. Please advise.
