    1. Medjool dates (there are at least 2 dozen types) are the most popular type
      in U.S. grocery stores. They are 98% carbohydrate. they are a tasty snack
      but NOT a good food for health.

    2. Yes medjool dates are high in carbs but they are good for your health and
      have quite a bit of vitamins and minerals. High in potassium, copper, etc.
      It is the sugar that could be an issue if you are a diabetic. or if you
      don’t take away sugar from another area of diet.
